Omega Weight Gain - We use weight Gain to put condition onto horses, just a small amount makes a huge difference. We switched our old ponies, who were on another well known pellet feed for old horses, to Omega 4 years ago. The results were amazing! Our 30 year old pony who was retired due to stiffness and weight loss is back to being ridden and really enjoying life. Video, the grey pony on the beach in the Omega advertisement, is 24 years old and in full work. Video competes in Vaulting to National level and is still competing in dressage and jumping. We tend to use Omega Gold when starting horses in work and then switch them onto Omega Blue and Maxi-Coat as we prepare them for competition. We find that all of the feeds provide much needed protein for muscle build up and for recovery after competition. The products also provide much needed energy for the endurance needs of sustained competition without 'firing up' the horses as other feeds might. All in all we are totally satisfied with our feeding regime and Omega provides a product to suit all of our needs.
